Mark Bertoli was born and raised in Kamloops, attended Post-Secondary Education in Vancouver and spent time working on a National Board in Toronto and an international Board in Dallas Texas.
Mark’s home is Kamloops as he enjoys the people and the recreational activities of the area. Mark’s background is business and he owned and operated a number of successful businesses through the B.C. Interior. These businesses consist of operational companies and commercial real estate development firms.
With this vast business experience Mark brings a hands on approach to tax, as well as corporate and estate planning for his clients. Mark joined Abbott Wealth Management Inc. in 2003 as a full partner and has worked with his associates to bring Abbott Wealth Management to where it is today.
Mark is very proud of his family; he and his wife Donna (28 years) are very busy with their two girls sharing their values and work ethics.
Mark has been very much involved in the community and is dedicated to making the world a better place.
Mark’s primary activities revolve around Rotary International. He is the past President of Kamloops West Rotary and served six years on the Board of Directors. Mark was the first major donor to the Rotary Foundation in Kamloops history. He also has received the District Service Award for his work of the Rotary Foundation. Mark was awarded the Presidential Citation from Rotary International for his work as President.
In 2007 Mark was instrumental in raising funds and worked with his family in Northern Thailand saving children from the Drug and Sex Trade Industry.
Mark is currently chair of the Abbott Wealth Rotary Golf Classic. This is a major fundraiser for Rotary and the funds will primarily stay in Kamloops to aid local organizations.
He is also involved in many other local charities.
Mark appreciates his Community; he is dedicated to his clients, family and associates and takes great pride in using his experience to aid in their success.
